If you’ve ever read the Fables series, KS is in more or less of the same vein. That is, the heroes and villains from Shakespeare’s plays are pitted against each other, Hamlet goes on a quest to kill William Shakespeare, the Wizard or God-like entity in that world, epic stuff like that. It may be one of the few comic books that may not get you into trouble if you were caught reading it in school by your English teacher – the characters even speak in Shakespearian dialect.

So far, these books I’ve ordered are the only ones that are in print right now, in time the books will be available online at comixpress.com. I also hope to get the books into other places like the local comic book shop, or amazon sometime soon too. Yes, I’m dreaming big…

The comics will be sold for $2.00.

I will more likely be wandering around the library, overcoming my shyness and meet some new people, etc. I will also be carrying around my mini comic/ashcan, “Katrina’s Arms” (see cover in the Portfolio section). I’m not quite pleased with how the photocopying turned out (e.g. some of the details were lost, I wrote more about my photocopying woes on my blog here)…grrrrr!!! >_<

I hope to get better copies of it done in the future. Until then…

And no, I’m not exhibiting, just observing, etc. I’m also hoping that I’ll have my mini comic done by then (to pass out to anyone who might be interested). Still debating on its’ title…

I also want to give a shout out to Michael and Jaspenelle Stewart – if it weren’t for their help, there would be no “Cadaverific” or “Sikotik World” on the internet. It’s been two years since the site went up – thank you both!

Jaspenelle, who’s also a photographer, among many other things (translation – she’s multi-talented!), has a photography site that you should check out called Graceful Symmetry (Michael designed it). It’s simple, yet effective.
